Healers

I’ve encountered different types of healers over the past few years…

There are two main types of healers in the world… There are those who rid (both people and the planet) of illness, diseases and poisons, and then those who mend, recalibrate and restore.

Healing people isn’t just about making them feel better. Its about getting to the root of systemic disturbances that cause widespread damage, and then resolving problems there, so that they don’t re-manifest in different forms down the line…

Somebody has to be the asshole who isolates then cuts away the infection. Somebody has to be jerk who restricts circulation in order to suck the poison out…

Then too, somebody has to be there to help realign and recalibrate the system once the poison and/or infection has been neutralized…

Sometimes recalibration is all that’s required. Other times, cutting away the infection is all that’s needed. However, most scenarios require a bit of both — especially when contemplating on how to heal the world… Healing the world will require a battery of treatments that involve both invasive procedures and holistic realigning.

These two types of healers have to learn to work in conjunction with each other. One cannot be more important than the other.

The surgeon can’t say to the holistic practitioner: “What you do is bullshit.” and the holistic practitioner can’t respond in kind.

In order to make things better, we have to focus on the problems themselves, and not on why we believe our approaches are superior to others.
