Swindler/Victimhood Peddler (to ideologues): “You’re being taken advantage of. You deserve more…”

Ideologues: “You’re damn right we deserve more!”!

Swindler/Victimhood Peddler: “Anyone or anything that says you don’t deserve more is lying to you, and an enemy or traitor…”

Ideologues: “Yes! We must protect and defend what we deserve at all costs!”

Swindler/Victimhood Peddler: “Here are words and ways to describe your enemies and then yourselves in contrast to them… When applied in discussion, these terms and descriptions will make you smart and knowledgeable and your enemies pitiful and weak.”

Ideologues: “Yes! We’re a THIS and they’re a THAT! We’re the good guys and they’re bad guys! This is how we are, but that’s how they are! This is what we know, and here’s what they don’t! Here’s what we’re like, and here’s what they’re like!”

Swindler/Victimhood Peddler: “Good, good… Now pay me to repeat these things to you over and over again, and then put me in charge of your resources…”

Ideologues: “We grant you full access to our resources, time and potential. You deserve it for telling us we deserve things!”
