Knowledge Isn’t Understanding
For me, it’s not about convincing people (humans) that they don’t know as much as they think they do… I think humans are fairly keen on the limits of knowledge they’re capable of possessing at a given time.
For me it’s more about explaining to the species the fact that knowledge isn’t actually, and rarely if ever translates into true understanding.
Because that’s the difference between idealism and reality…
There’s a difference between how reality actually is and functions, and ideals humans generate about and project onto reality, which, at best may be similar to reality, however, will always be “off” to some degree…
Knowledge is a facet of belief, which is a facet of IDEALISM.
Reality and idealism are mutually exclusive things…
