Reality is the Enemy
Most people don’t even realize reality is their enemy…
They don’t even realize that they treat reality as an enemy, and that reality responds to them in kind…
For such individuals, reality isn’t welcome around them, and they block it out at all costs…
They instead prefer “idealism” — escapes, echo chambers, belief systems and ideologies to and over reality.
When possible, they attempt to elevate their escapes and ideals to the level of truth and reality for all things…
They try to attack, devalue, undermine and change reality at every given juncture…
Ultimately what they expect is for reality to either serve them as a slave or be a target for their aggression — something subject to them; malleable and convenient to their wishes, whims, wrath and desires…
Most people will try to attack, devalue and change any and all who are in tune with reality, because they can’t stand the very sight of it…
They hate their own reflections in reality, so they won’t even face the mirror without the patchwork of pageantries and adornments they put on to avoid seeing their real selves.
They love it when others join them in their idealism, but hate it when people force them to recognize and participate in reality. They hate it when reality interrupts their ideal. They hate it when reality intrudes on the dream…
For most people, reality is the enemy.
