Good Person: “I see a problem, I have the means to solve the problem, so I’ll solve the problem.”
**Entering the Parasitic Mind State**
Decent Person: “I see a problem, it’s clear that the problem needs to be solved, I have the means to solve it, and I WILL solve it, but I just hope I’ll be rewarded for solving it on the backend.”
Questionable Person: “I see that there’s a way to solve this problem, and I have the means to solve the problem, so I might as well profit from solving the problem.”
Shady Person: “I see that there’s a way to profit off of solving this problem, and I’ll solve it for the right price.”
Unscrupulous Person: “I don’t understand, care about or know how to solve the problem, but for the right price I can find somebody who’ll figure out how to solve the problem and then profit off of both them and whoever’s negatively affected by the problem.”
Exploitive Person: “I’m going to recruit the talent and labor needed to solve the problem, remain visible throughout the problem solving process, and then take the lion share of credit and profit for solving the problem.”
Bad Person: “I understand the problem and see all of the ways I can profit from it, so instead of solving it I’ll solve portions of it at a time in order to maximize the amount of profit I can extract from both the problem and those negatively affected by it.”
Terrible Person: “Everything the above person just said, but wrapped in a blanket of faux morality, self-justification, deflection, rage and moralism.”
Corrupt Person (tier 1): “I create problems and then sell solutions to the problems I create at an exuberant rate.”
Corrupt Person (tier 2): “I create problems and sell partial solutions to the problems I create so that I can gradually evolve the problems and solutions over time, towards profiting from the problems I create forever.”
Corrupt Person (tier 3): “Everything the above person just said, but the problems I create are meant to injure, humiliate and destroy others for my amusement and satisfaction.”
Corrupt Person (tier 4): “Everything the above person just said — only, the problems I create don’t really have solutions to them; at least none I’m aware of. I sell false hope as a solution, knowing full well that in addition to profiting from the problems that I created, I’m also profiting off of deception, and off of the people who are looking to me for solutions and guidance. But my biggest win though is that I’m profiting off of the misery and suffering of those desperate for relief from this awful circumstance I created, in the form of entertainment!”
Corrupt Person (tier 5): “Yeah, everything they just said plus added layers of contempt and self-justification.”
